Paul Boulat was born in Paris, France, but was raised by his globe-trotting parents in London, England, and the greater New York area. After a year and half spent at Providence College, in Rhode Island, Paul finished his undergraduate studies on the small liberal-arts campus of Wesleyan University in Central Connecticut. Meanwhile, his parents and youngest sibling continued their travels to Chicago, exposing him to yet another cosmopolitan and vibrant environment. All throughout his college years, Paul has returned to Mis en Scene as a summer intern – helping the team consolidate inventories and getting his first taste of costumer relations. As a returning intern, Paul was also able to witness first-hand the success and expansion of Claire Maestroni’s business. Now, after graduating with Honors from Wesleyan University’s College of Letters, Paul has joined the Mis en Scene staff full time, assisting in the development of the firm’s presence online and facilitating communication with current and prospective clients, while furthering his knowledge of retail practices and the interior design industry.
