Stéphanie Couperier was born in Cannes, in the south of France. After completing her studies in international trade at the University of Lyon, she moved to Paris to work for a major trans-continental shipping company in the customs department, specializing in imports from the United States. In 1999, Stéphanie and her husband were given the opportunity to live and, for him, work, in the United States for one year. After a few months they realized it was the place they would choose to call home, and by 2004 they were both permanent resident and parents of two American born children. An active member of the francophone community of Westchester Country, Stéphanie spent the first years of her American residency raising and caring for her family while giving French lessons to local children. In 2007, Stéphanie made the decision to re-enter the workplace, and she found a perfect fit within Claire Maestroni’s team. Indeed, her in-depth knowledge of international trade soon made her contribution to the business invaluable, and as Administrative of Sales she has played a decisive role in bringing Mis en Scene the success it enjoys today.
